• I am a student of portraiture - both traditional and modern. I keep on top of trends without being trendy; and I follow age-old rules of portraiture without getting stuck in them.

 

• I believe in true-to-life color (with a few exceptions), because that is what will stand the test of time, and is what serves you best. I have seen so many editing trends come and go and what people loved 15 years ago now looks bad to our modern eyes. These once in a lifetime portraits deserve better than trendy editing.

 

• I have photographed hundreds of seniors and have streamlined my process to make it easy, fun, low-stress and yet professional.  And because I have photographed so many seniors, I have seen it all and have handled it all. You are in good hands with me!

• The technical and visual quality of your senior portraits matters to me so much. Skin tones will be right for the image. Your portraits won’t be too light, or too dark, or out of focus, weirdly posed or unflattering. 

 • I have been recognized in the senior portrait industry as one of the best; earning spots on "best" lists by Senior Style Guide, Senior Muse Magazine, and Senior Inspire, among others. I have also given workshops to other photographers and provide one-on-one mentoring; and private image critiques.
