Arrisa chose a divided Platinum session for her senior portraits on a chilly fall day. We went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum; and an area in downtown Kansas City in the morning; and then met back in the evening to finish up in Shawnee Mission Park. Dividing your Platinum session is not required at all but it's highly recommended if your schedule allows it, because it's so nice for you to have a break between the two parts; and you can change your hair and make-up if you like. I know that many of my kids also took a nap! Another fun thing, is that between the two parts, I come home and edit a few from the morning session so my senior can get a sneak peak before she even arrives for the second part of her shoot.
Arissa has fewer nature portraits than I usually do because it had turned very cold, so she elected to just do one outfit there. Which is totally fine! She still has a very large variety of looks, and had a ton of fun. So did I! Arissa is a true original!
